About Me

I bring to the counselling profession a broad range of life experiences, professional and personal. Much of my recent professional life has been in the field of training and development. I have a deeply held confidence in people’s ability to deal with life’s difficulties and understand that sometimes people need professional help to deal with issues and find their way.

I have trained as a humanistic integrative. practitioner at the Iron Mill Institute in Exeter. This essentially means that rather than work within one school of counselling I can draw on the ideas and practice of a range of disciplines depending on the needs of my clients. My focus is on you as a person and I will accept you without judgement. Finally I see counselling as essentially a practical occupation, one in which we work together for your benefit.
